October 2, 2012 Board Meeting Agenda Item #33 Title APPROVAL OF ARCHITECT'S CONTRACT FOR THE SOUTH COUNTY BUS DEPOT Description The project's scope of work shall include design and construction administration for the construction of the South County Bus Depot buildings and related site work.  On 9/18/2012 (Item #29), the School Board authorized negotiations with this company.  The Director of Construction Services and one (1) member of the Professional Services Selection Committee (PSSC) met with a representative of Schenkel & Shultz, Inc. and successfully negotiated a contract.  The amount of this contract is $149,130.00.  These contract documents have been approved by the School Board attorney and are available for review at the Construction Services Department.  The construction budget is approximately $1,300,000.00.  Funds for this project are available in the capital budget account. Recommendation That the architect's contract for the South County Bus Depot project be approved as presented. Contact LEMPE & SMITH Financial Impact Capital:  $149,130.00
